How it works
Juneau from the water.
Humpback whales are the primary attraction. Depending on the day, you may also encounter dolphins or occasional killer whales.
- Aarons Adventures helps coordinate your schedule and pickup.
- We transport your group to the harbor or departure point.
- The boat excursion is operated by a separate whale-watching company.
- The partner company sets and collects its own excursion price.
Separate payment: You pay Aarons Adventures only for transportation and coordination. You pay the whale-watching company separately for the boat excursion, taxes and fees.

Wildlife is never guaranteed.
The captain determines viewing distance and location. Bring warm waterproof layers and confirm mobility policies with the operator.
The full transportation-plus-excursion window is generally no more than about four hours, depending on the partner schedule.
